RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Federation of College Democrats is hosting multiple debates for Lt. Governor candidates on college campuses across the state. 

All four announced Democratic candidates for the office of Lt. Governor have agreed to an upcoming exchange on March 4 at North Carolina State University. The primary is May. 

Debates have also been held at the University of North Carolina in Asheville, Fayetteville State University and Salem College. 

Candidates include Winston-Salem City Councilman Dan Besse, State Senator Walter Dalton, Raleigh-based attorney Hampton Dellinger and Canton Mayor Pat Smathers.   

The debate will take place at the NCSU McKimmon Center campus at 7 p.m.  To submit questions for the candidates, visit the Federation’s website.
