PITTSBORO, N.C. — One-stop voting began Thursday for the Pittsboro’s special election.
The election for the Town of Pittsboro Town Commissioner race between Hugh Harrington and Michele Berger will take place March 18.
Harrington won the November elections by a slim margin. But soon after his victory, allegations of voter irregularities surfaced. The state election board decided to have another election.
Any voter registered in the town of Pittsboro at the time of the new election is eligible to vote. One-stop voting allows voters to register and vote all in one place at the same time. One-stop voting ends March 15.
