DURHAM, N.C.– Barack Obama’s campaign opened the doors of their new Durham office Saturday afternoon.![]()
The ribbon was cut at 1:20 p.m. to open the new campaign office located at 112 West Main Street in Durham. The opening has paved the way for Durham residents who need to register to vote.
The grand opening comes on the heels of the Senator’s visit to North Carolina earlier this week. North Carolina will hold its primary May 6.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker is in town to campaign for Senator Obama. He will also speak to the Young Democrats of North Carolina at their annual convention as well as making an appearance at North Carolina Central University for a voter registration rally.
