WASHINGTON – Hillary Clinton once had a lead among Democratic superdelegates, but it’s fading fast.
Barack Obama five more superdelegate endorsements Friday, including Congressman Donald Payne of New Jersey.
According to the AP, the Congressional Black Caucus member had been supporting Clinton, but he says “after careful consideration,” he’s concluded that Obama “can best bring about the change” that the country wants and needs.
Clinton originally had a lead of more than 100 superdelegates. Now, it’s down to three and a-half.
