With the presidential debate looming, and polls showing a continued neck-and-neck race, a new survey from SleepBetter.org sheds light on some surprising stats about how – or even if – the upcoming presidential election is affecting Americans’ sleep habits.
Twenty percent of respondents say they will sleep worse if Obama is elected; with 15 percent saying they will sleep worse if McCain is elected.
One in five Americans aged 18-24 say they will sleep worse if John McCain becomes President.
One in three Americans over 65 say they will sleep worse if Barack Obama is elected.
More than 50 percent of all respondents say they will not lose sleep regardless of which candidate becomes President.
