From NBC17 A big Bush bus will roll into town Monday.
Americans United for Change, the progressive issue-advocacy group best known for leading the successful fight to beat back President Bush’s effort to privatize Social Security in 2005, has hit the road with its latest effort, the Bush Legacy Bus: a 45-foot long, 28-ton, clean bio-diesel powered museum on wheels featuring several interactive exhibits on how two terms of failed conservative policies supported by Bush and his allies – including Senators John McCain and Elizabeth Dole and Reps. Frank Wolf, Virgil Goode, Thelma Drake, Bob Goodlatte, Virginia Foxx and Robin Hayes – have weakened America’s security abroad while neglecting and undermining important priorities here at home.
The bus will stop in Fayetteville Monday. Specific details about the stop have not yet been released.
Kicked off across the street from the White House on June 24, the National Bush Legacy Bus tour has visited more than 40 states – from New Hampshire to New Mexico – and racked up over 20,000 miles in the process.

Excellent idea, although pulling into that lunatic rethuglican hotbed (Fayettnam) I hope those driving the bus have bullet proof vest to protect them from the last bastions of crazy Bush supporters.
This should be turned into the Bush library after he flees the country to Paraguay to escape war crimes charges.

It is funny that the conspiracy theorists once told you the only reason Bush went to war was to steal oil and provide cheap gas. I am not really clear on how they have decided to tie the high gas/oil prices to Bush (unless you ignore that record oil prices caused record gas prices)….But I guess it makes a catchy bus slogan. I am sure there will be a good reason. The Dems have plenty of time to come up with one since they have allocated 100% of their time trying to prove the country is failing and blaming it on Bush, and ZERO % actually trying to make it better.

The reason Bush went into Iraq was to set up his oil buddies to take effective control over the second largest oil field on the planet and that is exactly what they have done.
Big Oil taking control of this oil field has NOTHING to do with lowering gas prices never did and was never implied.
The more control Big Oil has over oil supplies the more they can manipulate the prices where THEY want them which is UP.
You seriously delusional enough to believe they are going to go through all the trouble to murder over 1 million innocent Iraqi’s and take over a country to LOWER THE PRICE OF OIL? ROTFL.
Meanwhile Exxon just posted a 14.5 BILLION dollar PROFIT this past week for just 3 months.
How they manipulated the price of oil was through the “Enron Loophole” which gave “oil futures traders” a legal way to falsely up the perceived “demand” for oil which falsely raised the prices.
The Enron Loophole was put into place by Cheney the first month they stole office in 2000 and gas prices rose steadily ever since.
The only reason gas is lower right now is because people caught onto the scam and because its election time.
They will falsely raise prices again in Jan unless Obama gets in and then actually does something about it. He has said that he will repeal it.

If by stole you mean won by the electoral college instead of popular vote (some crazy rule in a document called the constitution) then you are right.
You may not remember the battle cry of the leftist conspiracy theorists, but it was indeed that we were going there to get cheap gas. I guess you don’t need to get all wrapped up in facts when your job is simply to play armchair quarterback and disagree with the party in charge.
I would be wasting my time trying to give a hippy an economic lesson on the difference between profit and profit margin, but I will let you in on a little Republican secret…Exxon is publically traded. If you are so good a predicting the corrupt causes of this success…buy some stock and share in the wealth. Tell your underacheiving friends to buy some too.
Of course that probably will not happen, because the real motive is anti-capilatism…and that wouldn’t sell well to the american public. That is why Obama says “Exxon” every time he talks about corporations, to generate a negative impression. That way you don’t bother to think about the fact that his tax increase will be on all corporations..not just evil “Exxon”…even the ones that the middle class are employeed by or may hold stock in. This is all wrapped up in a proposed tax cut for companies that “don’t send jobs overseas” as if he doesn’t understand why the jobs are going overseas to begin with.
Unfortunately, guilt and envy are pretty effective marketing tools for the Dems and will likely vault Obama into office. We will see where this conversation goes in 4 years when people start to learn the real lesson on socialism….and why it looks so good on paper…and DOES NOT WORK.

No by stole, I mean out right election fraud which has been positively proven.
Only a complete idiot would think that illegally occupying a sovereign country, killing its dictator, and murdering 1+ Million of its citizens in order to obtain control over their oil fields by American oil companies is to some how “lower the price of gas”. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Obamas tax “increases” on large corporations are just taking away all of their INSANE tax BREAKS that the corrupt Bush administration gave to the top 2% and bringing the tax structure back to the way it was in the 90s, you remember? back when the economy was booming and many in that bottom 98% actually had good paying jobs that seemed very secure, back when we actually had a SURPLUS instead of being 11 TRILLION in debt.
We are currently in debt by about 2 Trillion to China, about 1 Trillion to Japan etc we cant even afford to pay the INTEREST on those loans.
Nothing wrong with free market capitalism as long it is REGULATED so that the top 2% don’t end up with 95% of ALL the money while the bottom 98% get to split the 5% that is left. That is exactly what we have today.
Jobs are being sent overseas because corporations are given tax incentives to LEAVE the country, plus health care benefits are sky high making it impossible for a large corporation to be competitive in a global market place.
It is also because we have very lax tariffs here that allow import goods from China or where ever to come in extremely cheaply where as when we send out exports our goods are levied with heavy tariffs giving companies not operating in the USA a HUGE advantage in profit margins.
Right now there are about 50 Million seniors that have “socialism” (Social Security) to thank for keeping them alive. My mother being one of them.
Same with Medicare.
There are certain ideas of socialism that WORK and work well.
Universal health care is one of them, it is a win win situation for everyone including small/large business and everybody that already has excellent health care because the price they pay for it will drop considerably.
Like most all Neofascist you have not one clue of what you are talking about, you believe the Reich wing talking points from Faux News and Rush Limbaugh and that is where your “knowledge” ends.

If Obama raises the taxes on corporations, it will cost them more to do business in the US… right? How is that not a tax incentive to move the jobs overseas? That is the same mentality that causes someone to think that it is a good idea to tax oil companies more to penalize them for high gas prices. Like somehow providing an extra tax on Exxon will make gas prices to go down.
Why do you see it as such a crime to lower taxes for corporations? Maybe I am missing your point because of my ignorance, but corporations are employers. Do you think Obamas message would sound the same if he talked about taxing the evil employers…because that is all he is really saying? Here is a talking point…Democrats claim to love jobs, but hate empoyers.
As for Social Security, by working I assume you mean she is getting a check. And I am happy for your mothers survival, but to claim that it is working so well, you must be convinced that she would have blown the money if she had not been forced to pay it into the system. Because had she invested it on her own, she would have been hard pressed to find a worse long term investment as far as returns go.

It will cost them slightly more in just tax.
They will make up WAY more than that with many more Americans able to buy their product because 98% of the public actually would have money, and also save BILLIONS on health care for employees.

Everybody making over $250,000 a year can kiss my arse they are not living paycheck to paycheck and worrying if they are going to lose their house or not.
They might not be able to afford that vacation home in the Caribbean they only use 1 month out of the year or maybe that 2nd Yacht, cry me a river.
My mother is 92 and like many women her age was a housewife and is relying on my fathers social security.
She has never had enough money to invest in anything and with health care what little she does have in the bank would be gone without Medicare.

Sorry, I am used to arguing with people that deny that Obama is pushing socialist ideas. You seem to be more in the mindset that “Yep…its socialism all right….and it pays me…better yet….from the pocket of people I don’t like.” I can’t really argue that. I go to work to everyday to earn for myself and my family…Not the government. I give to charity. I can decide where it goes. I don’t look forward to a government that says…”ok you have made too much. Now we will take the rest from you and give it to somebody who we think needs it more than you.”

If you don’t meet the criteria….you best just pack up and move the whole operation overseas because your taxes are going up. But don’t worry about that….there probably are no middle class people working there….even if there are, Obama is going to give them a few bucks in a tax refund once they find another job.

Well, we can only hope McSame pulls it off. Maybe more people like you will pack up and go (people that want to use the country and government to come up with the best hand out…as opposed to the people that want government to stay out of their way so they can succeed on their own).

If Obama pulls it off, I have to admit I don’t have any radical threats about leaving the country. I still believe we have the best country on earth.
