State Senators approved a third continuing resolution for the budget Wednesday to keep government operating while they figure out a way to balance the 2009-10 spending plan.

RALEIGH, N.C.  – The North Carolina State Bar has filed a complaint alleging state Rep. Nick Mackey failed to file on time federal and state income tax returns earlier this decade.
